The Beginning

Today marks one year.

My 12 months of more is complete.

But this day doesn’t mark the end of my journey. The last 12 months have not gone exactly as I planned – but they have allowed me to grow in ways I didn’t know I needed.

Sure there were times where loopholes were used to excuse a purchase that probably didn’t fit the guidelines my “rules”. Sure, there were weeks, and even months where I didn’t provide an update on here. But when I look back on the last 12 months, I cannot help but smile.

I’m so proud. Not only of this huge accomplishment - of completing something that felt so big at the beginning, but also of the knowledge that I have helped to inspire others by sharing this experience.

I plan to continue living with less, so I can live more fully.

The rules I applied to my first 12 months of more may need some tweaking and restructuring, but as far as I’m concerned, they aren’t really rules anymore – just a conscious decision of how I intend to live my life.
